Plan gently
Build a day that protects your energy first, then fills in the fun.
A gentle plan is not a thin plan. It is a clear one with room to change. Before the park opens, decide what matters most, what can wait, and how you will rest without treating rest like a failure.
- Pick one must-do, two soft wants, and one guaranteed rest block on the calendar.
- Schedule food before anyone is hungry enough to unravel.
- Name an early exit option (hotel, quieter nearby spot, or half-day) so leaving is allowed.
- Share the plan with your group in plain language the night before, including who can call a pause.
- Leave blank pockets between attractions instead of stacking every hour.
If the plan still feels tight, shrink it. A good park day is the one your group can finish kindly.
